How much is the cost of admission?


The cost of general admission is $10 per person. All spectators under 3 years of age are not required to have a ticket. All tickets can be purchased outside of the event stadium.


When do the gates open for the start of the event?


The main gates to begin seating for the tournament will open at 12:30pm. If you plan to arrive and take your seat during the tournament, please be advised that movement will be permitted in the stands only when a band is not on the field performing. In between each performance will be time for the crowd to move in and out of the stands.


How do I get to Lehigh Senior High School?


From I-75 South, take exit 138 for FL-82 and turn left onto FL-82/Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. Continue for 3 miles then turn left on Lee Blvd. Continue on Lee Blvd.  for 3 miles then turn left onto Gunnery Road and LSHS will be on your left. From I-75 North, take exit 136 to FL-884/Colonial Blvd and turn right on Colonial Blvd. Continue on Colonial Blvd./Lee Blvd. for 5 miles then turn left onto Gunnery Road and LSHS will be on your left.


Can I purchase a shout-out to be read while my band is entering the field?


Absolutely! In fact, we encourage. All shout-outs are $2 each and can be purchased near the event stadium. Shout-outs will be read as each band is entering onto the field, and as they are leaving the field if necessary. All submissions will be screened for appropriateness prior to being read aloud to the crowd.


What sort of food  and merchandise will be available for purchase?


The tournament will offer a full array of prepared food, including hotdogs, hamburgers, and nachos. Also available are many candy items, baked goods, sodas, and other drinks. There will also be various vendors selling  food and merchandise. A full menu of food options to be served at the concession stands can be found here.


What is the schedule of performances for the Lightning Tournament of Bands?


The current schedule of participating bands can be found here. Please be advised that this schedule may be subject to change in case of a rain delay or other extenuating circumstance. We suggest you arrive early to ensure you claim your seat prior to your band beginning their performance.


Where should I park? Do I need to pay to park?


General parking will be available between the main school building and the event stadium. Signs and friendly volunteers will be posted around the school grounds to assist you in finding the appropriate parking area. There is not a mandatory parking fee, however there is a suggested parking donation fee of $5 that can be paid at the entrance of the parking lot. All donations are appreciated, and go towards furthering music education and excellence at Lehigh Senior High School, and to ensure that this tournament can remain successful in the years to come.
